About A Lane of Hope
In 2025, A Lane of Hope was founded by Scot Gerber, alongside family and friends, to honor the memory of Sherry Alane Gerber—a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose life was tragically cut short. Sherry spent 45 years in the healthcare industry, dedicating her career to serving others with compassion, grace, and quiet strength.
The foundation was created to celebrate Sherry’s legacy by supporting the unsung heroes of healthcare—those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to care for others. A Lane of Hope provides meaningful assistance to healthcare workers in need, as well as funding for those pursuing further education to advance their careers.
Through Three D Kitchen’s partnership with A Lane of Hope, every kitchen remodel becomes part of a greater purpose: honoring a life well lived, and investing in the people who carry Sherry’s spirit of service forward every day.
